Reply to Elizabeth

Note Elizabeth’s comments on her guild activities. She wrote that she received mentoring in her guild but sometimes the volunteer duties tend to take more time than she anticipated.
I guess that happens to king folk who offer their services, it always seems that the busy person seems to be the one that gets things done and are often asked to do "more"
I remember being rung by a Guild Member to go on yet another Committee and I said "No".
She was shocked…. she said, You never say No…..
Well this year I’ve deferred offers of work etc quite a few times  and although uncomfortable in the beginning it’s better than burning out in the long run.

It just all has to be in perspective. In balance.

However, I would urge you to mentor a new quilter. I’ll put my money where my mouth is and offer to do that in my Guild.
