Solitude and plane travel

I write this as I sit in the American Airlines club in Dallas….

I braved the  traffic and returned the hire car early this morning…. and I always breathe a sigh of relief when it’s off my hands.

Plane travel allows me solitude and I really enjoy that aspect of travel.  2 plane flights and about 3 hours waiting, gives me time to catch up on emails and continue sketching.
I’m sketching the door of Bosham Church in Britain.
I put on the noise canceling headphones, pump up the ipod and I could be anywhere… I’m in a world of my own.

A travel companion from hell, XXXXXXX  once said…"You must be strange to need to cut yourself off"
"Walk in my shoes for a few days Honey"

Recently on my trip to Britain and France, we filmed Bosham Church which is featured in the Bayeux Tapestry, the church still exists today. I walked through the very door that Harold Godwinson passed through before he embarked on his fateful trip to France.
He also went to the pub afterwards !!! I guess he was hedging his bets both ways.!!!!

Life is an adventure…..

Love the new design honey! The colours are “so you”! Glad to hear your mum is ok so far. Still keeping her in my thoughts though.
