I love visiting this area….
Alamogordo, situated at 4351 feet above sea level is set in a huge basin fringed with rugged mountains that rise to 12000 feet.
The sky is huge and translucent blue and I never get sick of looking at the change of color as the day progresses.

Today I filmed cotton fields and huge bunches of chillies set against rust adobe walls.Bright colored furniture and Mexican illustrations.

I sampled pork spare ribs and delicious Texas steak, but sadly the margaritas had to be passed up… I have a strange affliction, my jaw goes into spasm when I drink alcohol….it causes a lot of hilarity amongst my unkind buddies….
