Why on earth would I take photos of ducks…?

Look at the texture, the shape and color. As many of you know, many of my quilts are a direct result of my photographs, the one in the small picture being an example.

I took a lot of photos like the ones below to get the image for this quilt…

Yesterday while waiting in Disney World… this fellow presented himself….so we had an instant quilting photo session with my fellow travelers.

I could see a quilt resulting from these four images…. (not that I have time to do it) but that doesn’t stop the creative juices from flowing…..!!!!
