This small town is nestled in a valley surrounded by rolling hills.
The grass is brilliant green. The gardens are full of the most spectacular blooms.
I went for a walk yesterday morning, the sun was shining.  I walked past fields of wildflowers, past a laden pink crab apple tree, horses and foals and then big old draft horses who looked at me as if I was an intruder.

We have no internet at the venue. So this morning Jo Beth and I were in the car, in the rain, sitting outside Soggy Bottoms coffee house so we could use wi fi.
How come the Hilton hotel charges you $20 per day for wi fi…. and Soggy Bottoms in Pomeroy, urges you to sit outside the restaurant and use it 24 hours a day….
Mr Hilton, could learn a lesson or two.

this afternoon we found a litter of kittens in the shrubbery outside the door. It’s been a source of entertainment for the afternoon.
They have now become accustomed to turkey and left of spare ribs… discerning cats !!!!

As a quilt Tutor I couldn’t ask for more. I have the enjoyment of sharing my ideas, creativity and patterns with others. Not everything I say has to be taken as the only way to do things, but…. I just ask that they try it…. and see if it works for them.

We’ve had a lot of fun chatting, working, walking and eating together. The project is large and will take them a long tome to finish it…. but I’ll be back.!!!!!
Jet lag has been a bit of a problem…. sometimes the words just come out wrong… but the girls are forgiving and we’ve had a lot of fun. After this weekend, I have some assignments to complete and a few more drawings… so despite having fun, there is always work to do…
