Tilly, duck, duck and goose.

DSC07868

I'm, working on a  Impressionist portrait of Tilly….
Today I will quilt it in quite a different way….
I will use slate grey thread and "Draw" the entire quilt free motion/raw edge…..

Now that I look at it in a photographic state, I see that I need to add shadow under her chin.

Pam, this is simply marvellous. What a cute quilt and such a gorgeous model you have for it too. I hope she never becomes camera shy.
This quilt is in such fun colours and the ducks are really quirky.
This really appeals to the inner kid (or is it infant teacher) in me!
Keep on creating and thinking outside the box. The world needs your sense of fun and the sunshine it brings!

Of course the model is gorgeous…. but I don’t like the ducks. They’re not my favourite 🙂

    Gorgeous girl, that model!
The portrait is wonderful, even unfinished. You are getting better all the time, Pam.

I am so excited about your Tilly quilt — I’m in your Ontario class, got my grandbabies’ picture blown up and can’t wait to give them the ‘Tilly’ treatment. I’ve been watching your Frida emerge, but wasn’t sure I wanted that realistic style for them. See you on Thursday…
