Von Schnitzel Rumpenhumpenshtein – the third”

It's been a busy couple of days with  a two day visit from my Mum, and  it was an opportunity for  the entire family to spend time with her…..

Dinner Wednesday night was like a comedy movie, kids playing excitedly with the their favorite toys (the stuffed rats I have in their toy box.)
Plastic swords for would be knights and roaring dinosaurs with mouths full of teeth for 5 year old boys….

2 adult Uncles (single I might add) who enjoy  encouraging loud high spirited games and disturbing the conversation…. then hand the kids back to their eye rolling parents.

6 month old Baby Savannah joined in with her own form of noise….

The conversation of 15 people enjoying themselves…. 3 dogs, 2 cats and a builder in his shorts and dirt covered boots…..!!!! such is one of our "do's"

The food was appreciated, and I was reminded of when we were a family of 17, all sitting around the table -  gees how did we do it.!!!!
Did you know you need 40/45 potatoes to roast for that amount of people….!!!

I have been working, on the portrait and should have something to share tomorrow…

The alphabet is growing but I can't share it until the book is out….simply because I was made aware that the pattern was being used by someone…

I also found a new source of very fine pigment ink pens…. I'm excited…..!!! as you can see, this illustration looks as if it's on paper, but it is indeed on fabric….

I also work on a special project from 5.00 am to 7.00 am each morning…it looks fabulous, but I can't share that either !!!!!

Pam, you are teasing us. I can’t wait until the big reveal. Von Schnitzel … looks like he has had a very big night. Was he at your place for a family gathering?

  2. What are these new pens? Mr Von has great legs.

    Chris, you asked for it….!!!!!
He is the third high Chancellor from the principality of Schnitzel where Princess Tilly’s parents have their castle
He is the third high Chancellor, and the most important one……..the other two high Chancellors (who probably should be called Low Chancellors) are not very bright… but they are devious and jealous of No 3. So he has to be extremely careful.
He’s actually a very clever person, but he doesn’t want anyone to know, so he wears those silly red and white stockings, he does unusual things like bathe with a life jacket on to confused them….. the problem is, it confuses everyone else….
No 1, and No 2’s families were a little strange, they actually only had 3 toes on each foot, they walked slowly, so they were given rather menial jobs to do, like Goat Herding and sheep washing…. that’s what 3 toed people do….
No 3. Has five toes fortunately..he walks quickly, and does important work, like catching ice cream drips before it gets on your clothes !!!!!!!

Pam Holland, you have a very vivid imagination (or way too much time on your hands). As I know it is not the latter then I am assuming your mind ticks over constantly. I would be thrilled if the children in the classes I teach had 1/2 of your creative thoughts. It would never be boring reading their work.
