t was great working on our collaborative project today.
It's a unique experience.
Each of us brings a different perspective to the project and it's taken a long time to come to fruition.
We are all travelers in one way or another….and we work feverishly in between escapades.
We're pushing the boundaries….
Innovation often arises out of crossing disciplines and combining genres.
The quilt is now a reality, it's an interesting piece of work and is exactly as I envisaged it before we began.
There was a genuine excitement as we saw it laid out in it's entirety today…
Now we have to take an enforced break for 6 weeks or so…..
I go out to the shed at 5.00 every morning to work on it, and to see the progress is exciting… now it gets put away for a little while…
Notes have been made, difficult problems solved – and besides that we do really good lunches…!!!
One of our group was telling us at lunch that she has taken up belly dancing… !!!!! She and a friend have finished their first term…. and are going to repeat the beginner class to "get the steps right"
She said one lady in the class has had 12 terms of lessons and still hasn't progressed from beginners….
That would be me I'm afraid…
I just don't shimmy…. but then again, it would be interesting entertainment during my presentations… I might give it further thought.
But in the mean time, I'm going to relax a little….
I for one would like to see you try and belly dance Pammy! A little “Shimmy” in your presentations might be just what’s needed! lol.
I want to see the costume! You can’t do it in regular tutoring clothing, even if that does include red shoes!

See…..the red and orange items you passed on buying in Dubai would come in handy now!
