I’m offically on sabbatical. !!!

The last class today and as of this day, the 19th of September I am officially on sabbatical.

Does the word sabbatical apply to a quilter?

Of course I'll be working, but two years ago I made a decision not to teach for the next four months so I could work on my books and the Bayeux Quilt.

I have to finish, the two rhinos, The Frida Portrait, the Alphabet book and quilts and our joint project.

So I need 36 hours in a day….

I've only been home for 6 weeks this year… but I'm sure the next 4 months will fly by.

Next year, Mexico, USA, France, Britain, Israel, Dubai and maybe Thailand.

There will be an opportunity for you to accompany me on one or two of the trips.

I had the best time today…. we laughed a lot, we achieved a lot, ate the absolute BEST food and I just love these ladies… They are all so talented. I was impressed by their enthusiasm and excited at their potential.

What a talented group who looked like they enjoyed you as well. I look forward to hearing about your trips planned for next year. I have no doubt you’ll accomplish all you’ve set out to do and still find time to enjoy your lovely family time.
