Almost there

The bags are packed and I'm taking a few minutes to update the blog while we wait for our car to the airport.

I can't believe that I will have 4 months home.

However, to complete everything I want to do I'm going to have to be well disciplined…

I have some new ideas for teaching and sharing ideas with other quilters… I'm going to open a forum so we can all share in the thought.

Changing the subject…….. I've been in some places with extreme temps… and I've visited and worked in Thailand before… but yesterday was the hottest I have ever experienced.

We walked for several hours around the ancient city of Ayutthaya, I could barely hold the cameras I was so hot, my clothes were soaked, and the perspiration stung my eyes…. I didn't know your cheeks and forehead spouted water like a tap.

However, it was worth it… the photos came out well.

Have a safe journey home. What beautifil texures and colors. The crackle in the pot glaze reminds me of your Bayeau background quilting. What are the pods…flowers or food?

Yes, aren’t they lovely… I love that crackle glaze and the pots are the seed pots of the Lotus….
