The background of the Rhino is orange,  (not the easiest color to work with) I've decided to create a test piece on the same sort of fabric.

In fact. this is actually 12" X 12" it's four 6 inch block, so I figure that I can use this piece for my challenge this week….

Trust me, it's certainly been and challenge in every sense of the word.

I've tried quite a few methods of putting the quilting pattern onto the fabric.

Here are the results.

The Graphite pencil is adequate, it slides well across the fabric… but I can still see the wash out pen better.

The white clover roll on pen…. not adequate for this purpose.

So I'm going to use the 3 different methods and see which is the easiest to quilt.
