I went in the house to have dinner. I was wondering how I could get that lovely flat blue for the background of the block… and I suddenly thought…."I wonder if I could print the image out on fabric"?

I had some printed treasures fabric sheets… so I gave it a go.!!!

Voila. the block is ready to be quilted… I'm going to add the red fabric for the border… I like the subtlety… the image is not black but a dark grey.. so I will quilt it with grey thread.
