Whew…..!

Whoow., Tuesday morning and the feet are on the ground in the shed.

I'm late though, I try to get out here around 4.30 – 5.00 and it's already 6.30. However, the weekend has been amazing.

Our Wedding was great, it wasn't a formal affair, but the way the Callie and Ben wanted to celebrate their marriage.

As predicted they cried all the way through the ceremony and then laughed and enjoyed themselves the rest of the evening.

Old friends, relatives, neighbors and the town community joined to share the day. It rained, but it didn't dampen the spirits…

Grandchildren and daughters.

The next day was a round of cleaning up and celebratory meals and I crashed in a heap in the afternoon. Evey muscle and bone complaining from jet lag and adrenalin rush decline.

Yesterday we attended the annual Womad (World Music) festival. It was absolutely fabulous…

As you can see I did have time to finish a quilt and the others are in the pipeline.

Now back to serious work. Editing film, getting ready to go away again and there is a huge push to finish the Rhino's but the light on my machine went yesterday morning and I had to finish the  challenge block without it… However, I need to see every stitch perfectly on the Rhinos and so…..I'm off to the machine shop today.

Beauties, every one of them! Was there a hint of orange at the wedding?

  2. So glad that it all went off well. Some photos?
