Ready for tomorrow.

tracks in the sky as the sun goes down

I look at the clock and it's already 10.00 pm.  Where did the day go?

I've talked to the family on skype, washed my clothes,   prepared for tomorrow and with a heap of emails to answer I've run out of steam to do a video tonight.

Besides I'm in my pajamas and that's not a good look.

With the time change, my eating patterns are out of sync and I just had to eat the dry half a bagel I saved from lunch. I was storing it for breaky…. now I'll just have to have an egg in the morning.   At home I would never eat anything so dry, but when you're away… you do strange things.!!!!

It was lovely to have a few gals visit with me today to say they enjoyed the Mexican videos… you know I make them, I get great feedback but it's nice to chat with people who like them.

It's 2 1/2 weeks since I had my stitches in my leg and back and I just couldn't take it any longer, so I retrieved the scalpel from the case, tried to cut the stitches and slipped and cut the ball of my thumb. It's catching on everything and hurts like heck, fortunately one of the teachers had a band aid.

I managed to get a few stitches out and it feels better.

Tomorrow I should have some photos of quilts for you and maybe a few interviews.

Cameras are at the ready.

I had dinner with a couple of my quilting buddies. As usual we laughed at all the things that happen on the road…. It was amusing to see the smirks on the faces of our table neighbors…

"you know what that Pam Holland said" specially when we were talking  about keeping a fabric sling in your handbag, you whip it out before they call the pre boarding if you're not a frequent flyer and then board with "those who need assistance" the trick is to get it off before you hoist your luggage on to the rack. !!!!

No I haven't done it, but one lady has !!!! and I'm not telling.

I was wondering just this morning as I pulled up your blog, how you were managing traveling with your stitches. Looking forward to your reporting on the quilt show.
