Chicago inspiration

I managed to get quite a bit of work done today. I woke early and was able to do some writing, a little drawing and finish business.

When I looked outside it was sunny and clear, but I didn't trust my vision and donned the coat and scarf. Armed with my tiny video camera, my big still camera, my Ipod I ventured outside.

Wooow, the wind whips right through you. I've never felt so cold. It's colder than any winter day we would ever encounter at home and my family can attest to the fact that I feel the cold terribly. Six hours of walking saw my hands turn blue and my ears tingle.

I attended a classical music concert at the Chicago Cultural Center and marveled at the amazing architecture and creative installments in the park. I hope you like the little video, specially the moving faces.

3.30, and I couldn't take the cold any more. I went back to the hotel, made a warm drink and hopped under the quilt on the bed.

I woke with a start at 6.30, thinking woow that was a short night, but it was still the evening.

I've been away from home a week and I think the time change is still creeping up on me.
