Do you ever have one of those days?
You work your butt off and nothing gets finished… so as I wake up this morning, I guess I'll complete a lot of tasks today that were begun yesterday.
I spent an entire day photographing quilts yesterday, organizing air fares, filling out papers, editing film…..and I got to talk to my buddies on skype about the event in Alamogordo. They kindly sent me these photos taken at the lecture.
Someone should tell that gal not to point….. But maybe it's getting a bit too much for her.
The temperature was almost zero this morning – 6 deg in the studio before I put the heater on, and it's the first day the legs have told me I'm back at sea level.
My girls know my love of fine china and since Mothers Day, I now have two wonderful breakfast sets to choose from.
I'll use them on alternate days… it's a bit of a ritual, to sit up to breakfast at a well set table with nice china…. it's not surprising that the rest of the bambinos do the same…. Even Tilly makes sure the place mats, napkins and drink coasters match….!!!
(what have I done to my family)
Apple trees, I'm drawing apple trees today for the "A" Quilt and I'll share it tonight….
I love your outfit. I agree with your previous comment regading wood fires. It is the coziest way to warm a home. We’ve finally hit 80 today… I can clear the remainder of the wood off the porch.
Just a shirt and scarfe…. go the scarves.!!!
