I wrote a blog last night, BUT, somehow I lost it. Normally, the post stays in typepad and I can retrieve it at a later date, but the program has a new interface… and it disappeared into the soul of my computer never to be found again.
I've had two days of classes teaching for our local Guild and unlike teaching in any other place I feel I have come full circle and I look at the class in a reflective way.
I learnt to quilt (somewhat indirectly) through the Guild.
I was awarded The Jewel Pearce Patterson Scholarship for International Quilt Teachers from Houston, which gave me the opportunity to learn overseas.
I learned from the best and now I can give back to the members of the Guild as an International Tutor.
Its taken a while, but I think I've served my apprenticeship…
These were the projects we did and a they were outstanding students…
Wow. I was finally able to take a few minutes to explore a bit. Your new blog design is amazing. It was easy to navigate and I didn’t find it took much time loading. (Perhaps you’ve been tweaking it a bit too.) Your art and willingness to share and teach it are much appreciated!
Sally, thanks… yes, we have and there is still more to do, but it has to wait for a week now till I get back home….
Thanks for the comments though.
