Designing, eating and having a wonderful time.

I started the day by doing this drawing. I would like to complete a watercolor for each project I do this year. (2011) I think it helps me with the harmony and creation of the piece.

The placement of this piece is similar to  the quilt… it's dimensional by standing in front of the very simple border.

Aggy

This is just a simple block taking a little poetic license. Above the small quilt, below the foundation pieced block….. It works.

Christmas has come and gone.

It was a fabulous day with family and the weather was perfect.   We missed two members, Matt and Sheena who were in Hospital delivering their baby. Lilly Maree arrived late in the afternoon and we all got a text at the same time.

A huge cheer went up as we all raced for our phones….

As for the boys guarding the backyeard with their water cannons, that’s what little boys should be about.
