Our flight, due to arrive in Leon at 2.55 pm. was cancelled at 10.00 pm due to too much overtime for the pilots….
Oh joy.
There was an angry mob forming… I wanted to protect the assistant behind the desk, she deserved a medal….
So I raced upstairs to the club and sought help…….we are now in the Hilton with crisp white dressing gowns to sleep in because we only have the clothes we stand up in.
Gees Louise is right – if they could, they would produce a plane out of thin air, but you know, it just ain’t gonna happen…

I don’t travel as much as you do, but I’ve rarely had things go perfectly on any trip…it’s the nature of the beast. I’ve learned to just expect it now…
I’m lucky, with the amount of travel I do, this rarely happens…. but i did learn one lesson….don’t stay up the night before you travel.!!!!
you are crazy! How did the harbour cruise go? We went the next day but it was raining. Walked all around the financial district and SOHO in the rain then back to hotel. Yesterday I dragged Al across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was great! Beautiful weather. At LAX waiting for flight. No delays here Pam (yet) so fingers crossed. Hope you made it to Mexico.
