Birmingham day – 5

To be honest I was just too tired to do the blog last night. I went to dinner with Bonnie McCaffery and Jenny Bowker.

Then business on the computer came next, I laid on the bed at 11.00…(just to rest a minute) and woke up at 2.00!!!!

I promised that I would put photos up of the work of my students….I hesitate to do that in most instances but I do have their permission.

These shoes are partly completed… the quilting in the background will be quite dense following the lines of the pattern on the fabric.

I was disappointed that the next photo is a little out of focus but it gives you an idea of what was completed.

Every one did a fabulous project. It's all illustrated free motion with thread.

These are just a sample… everyone was very generous with their time and thoughtfulness.. thank you.

Looks like another stellar group of talented students. Both shoe quilts are fun! I wish I could see the flower quilt after it is finished.
