We had a day of travel today and we're finally in Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah to be correct.

It's English meaning: (The Top of the Tent) and it is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the east of the Persian Gulf.

It is in the northern part of the UAE bordering Oman.

I'm staying with my Sister Jan and we are off to Dubai for a two day photographic retreat tomorrow.

We're going to shoot photographs in the desert tomorrow. It's quite warm here, in the 30's and will be for the 10 days we're here. whoopee….

I want to go to the fabric souk in Dubai and film, I need to go to the huge Mosque in Abu Dhabi to take photographs

and to Oman…. Oh, and add in a little camel racing and sand dune visiting….

So we should be busy.
