It's quiet and I can sit quietly and enjoy my music.
Feeling a little strange this evening, I suddenly realized it's the first time in 2 months that I have had a few hours to myself.
Home alone and enjoying the sanction of my studio. I'm a little overwhelmed and don't know where to start because I want to do everything at the same time. !! But I do have to have a schedule, just as if I was on the road.
The realization that this is the beginning of my sabbatical and it's actually happening is exciting and a little nerve wracking at the same time.
However even at this early stage I need to plan.
Pam, is this the quilt that is extra, extra long? I was just thinking about it the other day and wondering what the status of it is. Can you tell us (even if it’s a refresher) what your plans are with this piece?
Do you think it will be difficult to get back into this type of quilting after all your more recent endeavors spent with thread painting? Looking forward to progress reports.
i can only imagine how excited your are and can relate to wanting to work on everything all at the same time….you will do famously…peg
No, not really Wendy. It’s more intuitive to do this work. It’s all technique. and in reality, I don’t have to be as creative as I do with some of the other quilts I do.
I guess I could say it’s established.
It’s a bit daunting but a challenge at the same time.
