Do you piece your quilt back?

Temporary Poster-1
I really like to piece the back of my quilts.

Sometimes I use all the scraps left over from the quilt top…

Sometimes I create an entirely different picture.

I find the quilting creates an interesting image and texture on the back.

Today, I've used my own fabric on the back of this special quilt (picture above) So I guess it will mean quite a bit more than a "sack full of scraps"…

The back below was hand dyed…. and the quilting added a great dimension.

I do too, Pam….makes sense….sometimes I use the left overs from the front to make an interesting label with an applique or some relevant design to go with the main theme of the quilt or not.
