Australasian Quilt Festival

It's been a wonderful day.

A day full of surprises and inspiration.

The photo above is from Lisa Waltons booth, her hand dyed fabric is just wonderful.

These Japanese ladies made me some green tea, they were so gracious and wanted everyone to share… I was a little embarrassed that a lot of people were hesitant to try it.

I took over 500 photos today… but it's almost midnight and I have a busy day tomorrow, so I will get up early and add them.

Quilt making has been around for generations. Maybe you remember a handmade quilt from your childhood. Maybe someone gave you one as a gift and now you want to make your own quilt. Quilts not only serve as bed coverings but are also great as wall hangings.
