Traveling, as I do, I inevitably get behind on the blog. So I guess this is a review of the past couple of days.
Last night, I went to bed composing in my head. Its difficult to put into words just how Lisa and I felt about the things we saw and experienced. Each day held a surprise. Each day held an adventure of sorts but in a way there is always a degree of guilt in the back of my mind that I should be home with the family and working. !!!!
However, that doesn't last for long.
I live across the other side of the world and it's impossible to schedule my events like a jigsaw to slot in neatly and lay flat.
Our trip was preparation for our "Thelma and Louise" trip next year.
12 people can join us and if you are interested let us know because a few people have already requested a space.
Accommodation is at a resort in the country side just outside the city of Santa fe and we chose it because the rooms are beautiful, the facilities are perfect and there is an air of peacefulness. Besides there are three swimming pools and a spa. !!!!!
Two or three people can share a suite or you can have a single room if you wish.
Saturday evening we sat on the balcony for a long time, the sun was setting, the breeze was warm and we watched the moon play hide and seek with the clouds.
I wish I could bottle it.
Santa fe is a photographer and artists paradise. We visited gallery after gallery. That's not to say I liked all the work I viewed but it's fascinating to stand in front of a painting and try to work out the meaning and the method.
Sent a separate email….but would love to go!! Please save a space for me.
Lynn, it’s saved !!!!
You would just love it.
Pam
I would be interested in next year’s trip, and a friend from Japan might also want to come.
Count me in, too! Do I need to send a separate email? I know the area quite well, but would enjoy it better with Thelma & Louises. In fact, I just got back from there recently but each time I go I discover new places and get new ideas. Let me know how to get on the list… Sharon Hendry!
