Back in Santa fe

Another day  on the road, but this time I'm on my own. Buddy Lisa had to return to work.

The  four hour drive turned into five because of delays at the many sets of road work.

However, the scenery was amazing and definitely was a bonus.

Flat dusty plains gave way to green rolling hills. The clouds were amazing. Huge thunder clouds gathered with force and I was able to witness an amazing panorama  right in front of me.. They  dropped the rain in dark misty blocks a  relief for the dry ground.

I wanted to stop the car and photograph, in retrospect I should have because I had to wait for my room when I arrived at the hotel.

I'm going to have a busy time here in Santa Fe.

I'm attending the Santa Fe folk Art Festival and Market. In the coming days I hope to share the excitement, the color and the texture of this amazing event.
