Last day of Long Beach

It was a little quieter yesterday.

The hustle and bustle had gone and I was able to spend good quality time looking at the quilts.

It seemed that almost half of the quilts were labeled 'No photographs'

I'm not going to comment, but I did hear a lot of rumbling from viewers.

The quilts I could photograph are the stars. I snapped this photo of one of the happy viewers.

Orange Lilies by Terry Grant. Portland Oregon.

This is one of the 12 X 12 series and I think these are my favorite quilts. If you ever get the opportunity to see them take the time to look at them in detail, they are wonderful.

I think all of the machine companies were represented and I'm particularly interested in the sweet 16 from handiquilter.

I didn't see a lot of notions, I don't know, but from my casual observation I didn't see a many  new products.

Baskets, a few jewellery stands, shoes, fabric and I bought some delightful handmade hats and baby pouches for 6 of the little people in our lives.

I don't think the photo do justice to this quilt. It is beautifully appliqued and quilted.

Great pictures of the quilts. I always love to see pictures of quilts for the inspiration! Is this something new about no pictures? I haven’t seen that before.
