I started a blog this morning, well, last night really and lost it all because I was doing 3 things at once.!!! Grr.
So the day is over and we've had a great day.
I encouraged my friends to take up quilting some 20 years ago…These are ladies who have been my friends for the past 35 years…
Of course I was home more in those days and we met monthly, now they still meet but, without me… so today we were all able to get together and do a little class.
Its a great event. We have a wonderful lunch, we quilted and talked and my kids come to meet their 'aunts'. They also finished their projects.
The grandies were in and out… and we quilted with the baby on the light box.
2 weeks old and he's introduced to quilting already. The machines whirred, the conversation was great and he is carrying on the tradition of all my grandchildren. Quilting from the cradle.
your day sounded wonderful and he looks content..peg in la
I love it! So content. Did the machines and voices lull him to sleep?
He was very content… most of our babies have joined me in the studio… wrapped and lulled my the noise of the machine.
That is so great, quilting with friends and babysit too. I love the way the child is just peaceable listening to all that is going on. Sounds wonderful and looks like so much fun.
It was a smiling day.
