I finished the quilt a few days ago, but I've been too busy to photograph it.
The red label… says. "determination"
I made it by tracing an image in red ink and coloring it. It's appliqued onto the quilt with a small zig zag.
You might see a line about 5" down from the top of the quilt… it's just the base of the sleeve at the back.
Next project is this one…. "Ripped from reality"

I wasn't sure how to achieve this… but I think I will have the photo printed large on canvas.
I'll print the colored part to match, but I will do it on fabric.
The piece I print will be thread painted separately and then appliqued to the canvas…. (I think) not too sure yet.
The thing is I need to print it on canvas first so I get the size right.
I really like the old woman…..and you are so clever with the next project too…..good ideas, artistic and interesting.
