Working on my lady project is slow.
I do small parts of it at a time. It's like creating a painting, and I have to stop and stand back to get the perspective, to check the color, and to see where I need to add more thread.
Sometimes it needs just one or two stitches.
I've been quilting for a long time, and with this particular project I've found my joy. In the peace and quiet of the studio this afternoon I realized that I have been working slowly towards this for my entire quilting life.
