More wonderful Quilts

l’m burning the candle at both ends to fit everything in and we fly out very early Sunday morning so I’m packing the experiences into every waking hour.

The Festival opened officially yesterday, it was raining and as I was already at a mini quilting seminar I wasn’t able to see how the crowds coped having to line up in the rain to gain entrance.
But the sun came out in the late afternoon and blessed us with this amazing sunset.

This is my fourteenth year here at Houston and I still feel the same excitement and wonderment that I felt on my first visit. There are so many exciting memories.
An blanket of creativity descents on downtown Houston and its about as good as it gets.
I’ve added as many photos as time will allow, but trust me, I’ll catch up and get them all up eventually.

Oh, Pam! Thank you so much for these images. As I am not able to be in Houston, I so appreciate the time an effort you have put into making these images available. They are the next best thing to being there in person to view these amazing quilts.

  2. Lovely photos! My pick of all the quilts I have seen in photos is Spider Lillies … beautiful, simple, modern … and appeals to me, who loves old fashioned tradition!
