Never forget.

We've been learning about the great famine. One can't ignore the fact that over one million people died at that time.

Ultimately it changed Ireland and the world with death and mass migration.

This statue needs no words but is visually powerful.

I've just completed a quilt on hunger and I would have used this story had I known it previously.

Just a poignant reminder of things we should never forget.
