The past few days have been full of excitement and interest. Can you imagine a room with 320 participants, 4 presenters and lots of helpers all talking about their passion of the art of quilting.
There is so much darn creativity in that room that it's fairly jumping.
I would like to say that if you ever get to attend a Ricky Tims super seminar you are in for an amazing treat. He and Alex impart so much knowledge in a short amount of time that it makes your head spin. I have the delight to share some of mine too.
Love it, love it, love it. The audience is wonderful and the 'whoo hoos' are getting louder as the days go by. I'm going to be sad to see it end, but I have to put on another hat and attend another couple of amazing events in Houston.
I've signed hundreds of autographs, and had my photo taken about the same amount. Love these ladies (and there are also a few men)
There was so much anticipation for this event. I could hardly wait. The lines of ladies grew rapidly and when the doors opened, the event finally began.
What a time we've had.
Oh and there was a politician staying here too. I thught the secret service were guarding us but it seems I was mistaken.
Whoo hoo
I just talked to some of my grandies and daughters, face time is wonderful, one gets to share the stories of broken arms, Dad, taking his Daughters and Daughter in Laws on a movie and dinner date, visits to the dentists and the weather and babies coping with colds… all the things I would do at home.
It makes that distance a little shorter.
