Oh Grandma, your soldiers are just gorgeous. – Bayeux


So says Master 4.

Thank you. He and I studied soldiers and ships today. He was fascinated that they had to chop down trees to build the ships. It’s a great story to share with little people.

This is an older piece, I love the perspective, 8 soldiers and 8 legs… at least he hasn’t picked that up yet.!

The drawings for these soldiers were made 949 years ago. I love the angles of their bodies and every face has a different expression It makes every day working on it exciting.
