I finished one sock about 10 minutes ago. I’ve given it depth with a flick of the pen. But now to work out what to do with it.
It probably took about 4 hours to color.
I like it.
It looks like a sock.
I had a small apprentice in the studio today. She wants to copy everything I do, but in her own way. She has her own Janome Gem platinum, but today graduated to my big machine for a little thread painting.
The foot pedal is on a stool and she likes to lay her head on the machine to feel it as she sews.

One can’t say it doesn’t have it challenges..but we had a great time and its a fabulous experience.
