Masterpieces from the collection of the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs, Paris.
That was my destination today.
This event is being held at the Art Gallery of South Australia and its only on for one more week. Friend Kaye and I took the opportunity to visit the exhibitions today.
I couldn’t take photos, but I was able to capture some of the images outside the event. To be honest, I found them more interesting.
I enjoyed the journey through fashion, from the 40’s to the present time. Photos of my Mother in her pin stripe suit in the 40’s, she looked so beautiful. Oh, my goodness I remember some of those fashions. Remember the empire line dress of the 60’s and the Abba fashions of the 70’s.
It was really nice to wind down and have a day off. To have fun with friends and enjoy the sunshine.

Happy to enjoy the exhibit, via your blog. Your recent pics encouraged me to go thru my “camera roll” on my phone and I found some I want to incorporate into a quilt. While not as color dazzling as yours, the white/pink on the oleander blossoms had caught my eye. While not the quick fix of using someone else’s picture (with or without permission), I will know that bright spot to the left comes from the break in the fence. You are an excellent teacher!!! Thanks.
