This year at the Southern New Mexico Festival of quilts I will be taking people out on a photography excursion.
It won’t be a technical camera trip, but a “Capture and Create” tour. These are some of the images I took last year at White Sands National Monument here in Alamogordo.
The White Sands National Monument is a U.S. National Monument located about 16 miles (26 km) southwest of Alamogordo in western Otero County and northeastern Doña Ana County in the state of New Mexico, at an elevation of 4,235 feet (1,291 m). The area is in the mountain-ringed Tularosa Basin and comprises the southern part of a 275 square miles (710 km2) field of white sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals. It is the largest gypsum dune field in the world.
The again, we might just visit the old cars, and the cactus and things of that nature.

Sylvia, thanks for your note. No I’ll not be in the UK and I don’t have how to books other than my Alphabet book which is about illustrative quilting. I will, however be adding classes online after July.
