Some of the winners – International Quilt Festival Houston.

These are just a few of the winning quilts at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. I will add more as when I get to take the photos over the next few days.

I like to look at the quilts in detail, I study them depth, each and every one.

As a photographer, I appreciate the light captured in this image.

I love this quilt. I looked at it for a long time. The depth and detail is outstanding in my view.

How amazing, just how did he do it?

Dear Pam I have been following you every morning over my breakfast and coffee what a trip you are on, I’m not sure how you keep up this pace but it is a wonderful trip for me in my arm chair LOL. Having been to many of these places you bring back so many wonderful memories as well. Peter Hayward wrote up on his website how he made Quilt the way he thinks these quilts out reminds me of how MC Escher worked on his drawings. Thanks so much for been so so generous sharing your photos and time What an incredible trip this has been, Cheers Glenda FNQLD

Enjoyed my class with you on Tuesday. I am hoping to get back to the festival today and see more of the exhibits that I missed on Thursday’s marathon. I did love the portrait of the two girls. I’m sure you’ll have a fabulous time in Guatemala and wish you a safe journey home.
