Lake Atitlan Adventures – Guatemala.

DSC09306
Jim, with a dear lady we met the other day. We bought some of her goods and her smile melted your heart.

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.

My buddy in the room next door, Mr Jim now has a coffee maker so we can now get coffee before 7.00 am. (Oh, he also has an ironing board)

Thank you Mr Jim.

I’ve got the computer propped on a small table, and in the morning I can add to the blog, but photos are almost impossible to add, but we will be back in Antigua in 4 days so I can add an album  then.

Our cast  members arrive today. Many of them flew in  from their cities to the meeting point last night, then on to Guatemala this morning.  There is a drive to get here, but we will welcome them with open arms tonight at dinner.

I’m part (a very small part) of a program that features the crafts of various countries. The team seek out master craftsmen from countries around the world and shares their talent with the us all.  I’m looking after the cast members and I’m featuring as a Master Craftsman in Antigua using a combination of indigenous art to crate the new.

Jim and I, came here in June last year for a week of fact finding and indeed we were seduced by the beauty of this country. So I guess you could say I’m a second time around expert of sorts which is not too much, but trust me I learn fast.

    Hi Pam,
My husband and I just signed up for your Guatemala trip in November. We are super excited. I work at the Back Porch Fabrics in Pacific Grove, California and picked up your brochure when you were teaching at Empty Spools Seminars at Asilomar. See you in November!
