I don’t know how you feel about your day today life but I just feel privileged to be around. The more I travel, the more I appreciate my life, my family and my friends.
I share with you the story of a man who has spent most of his life, sewing for a living.
He doesn’t have a fancy studio, he doesn’t have electricity or even a roof over his head but he sits day by day on the side of a busy road in the dust and the smog of continuous stream of traffic spewing black smoke into the atmosphere as it passes by.
His age is undeterminable and behind his old chair is a huge mound of fabric waiting to be hemmed.
His sandaled feet fly on the pedal and he hems the fabric with extreme dexterity.
He shares the pavement with the lady doing her washing.
The corn seller. And life goes on around him.
Puts so much in perspective. Makes me realize the true blessings I have and am grateful for. Thank you.
