Yet another adventure.

My musings,

I’m not a spring chicken by any means and yesterday  I began another adventure that has been given to me through my career in Quilting. I don’t know where it will end. I don’t really mind to be honest, I just count myself  lucky to have done the interesting things I have because I chose to be a Quilt Teacher…. or then again did I sort of fall into it?

The main thing for me is that I do it to the best of my ability. I’m a little hard on myself.

As I arrive back to my hotel this evening and make a coffee in the sudo coffee machine instead of my own barista style and eat graham crackers  instead of vegemite on toast or a nice cheese on crackers I enjoy what I have and I wonder  what else is around the corner?

I’m often asked how do you manage to do so much? Well,  to be honest, I don’t think I do, I just find myself in interesting situations and I make the most of every day.

To me this chosen profession has the reputation of being honest, respectful and I like to think of myself as a team player. (At least I try to be) I share my ideas on quilting with students because I love what I do and I have a passion that keeps bubbling to the surface. I have little or no control over the creative ideas that are always there under the surface and they often burst out with a sense of the ridiculous.

Life is too valuable to sit on the couch.

And besides I have the excitement of having my evening meal delivered to my room tonight, how good is that.  That doesn’t happen at home. !!!!

Oh Pam Joy made me laugh out loud , first I smiled then laughed, you have caught the essence of joy completely in her body language and face. I will have to put her on my desk top so it will make me feel good every morning when I open up. I’m enjoying my arm chair travels most morning with you. Take care and enjoy Korea. Glenda FNQLD
