Pam, all your photos are exceptional, but I have always loved your people portraits best. Some seem unposed, truly candid. In others, the subject is looking directly at the camera. Do you always ask permission before you photograph a person? Never? How often are you rebuffed?
I ask permission every time… In India they ask you to take their photo. They love it. Here in South America, of course I ask. I have only been refused once.
