The Quilt Brooches.

It’s been one of those days.

I have the two Grandies here with me because the school has a student free day.

It’s rained all day and I’m without a car so I’ve been working up a storm in the studio preparing classes.

I added small hand carved hand that comes from India and I a couple of antique buttons.

The edge was over cast by hand with thread that is flax and has come from Scotland some 50 years ago. (I did that during a Quilt Guild meeting.)

Add a little stitching with embroidery thread, add a pin to the top and voila You have a pin.

What did you do with your “grandies” on the rainy day? Were they in studio too?
