Wow- cannot believe these are all quilts! How do they get the different shades of light?
Some of the shading is done with Pigment ink, some is in the fabric already and some is done by placing a layer a sheer black netting over the shaded area.
I love these pieces, each one a definite work of art. So many techniques that, together create a scene that brings emotion out in the viewer.
