Thirteen weeks down and counting.
Thirteen weeks home and in complete isolation for 3/4 of that time.
Yes, everyone else is in the same situation, and life has changed immeasurably for us all. In the future, dates will be measured by “During the time of the pandemic.”
You try to be upbeat, but sometimes even that state of mind takes a toll on you. Not that being positive is false, but it’s the extra mental exertion that challenges the psyche.
I want to be normal again.
I want to be able to plan, to make choices and to be comfortable in to just plain visit with friends.

In the past weeks, I’ve been working continuously.

I’m lucky to have a lot of space to work, to wallow in my studio, surrounded by family and have time to create.

I joined the Textileart.org Stitch Club. I’ve tried new techniques, and I’ve enjoyed the experience immensely, and, I’ve added to my repertoire.

I have to remind myself that I can take a day or two off!

The Gabriella Quilt, not completely finished, the hands gave out before I could finish the quilting. But now I have a super new hoop so I’m back on track.

This is my isolation Quilt. I just added a little each day and it’s still growing.
