My blog has been resting.

Thirteen weeks down and counting.
Thirteen weeks home and in complete isolation for 3/4 of that time.
Yes, everyone else is in the same situation, and life has changed immeasurably for us all. In the future, dates will be measured by “During the time of the pandemic.”
You try to be upbeat, but sometimes even that state of mind takes a toll on you. Not that being positive is false, but it’s the extra mental exertion that challenges the psyche.
I want to be normal again.
I want to be able to plan, to make choices and to be comfortable in to just plain visit with friends.

In the past weeks, I’ve been working continuously.

I’m lucky to have a lot of space to work, to wallow in my studio, surrounded by family and have time to create.

I joined the Textileart.org Stitch Club. I’ve tried new techniques, and I’ve enjoyed the experience immensely, and, I’ve added to my repertoire.

I have to remind myself that I can take a day or two off!

2nd Quilt finished. Portrait in cheesecloth.

The Gabriella Quilt, not completely finished, the hands gave out before I could finish the quilting. But now I have a super new hoop so I’m back on track.

1st quilt completed. The Giraffe, a free motion animal portrait.

The eye project with Textileart.org

The Elephant Eye, Textileart.org project.

The little containers a Textileart.org project.

It’s not quite finished, but will be in the next few days.

The last project with Textileart.org.

This is my isolation Quilt. I just added a little each day and it’s still growing.

Another little project with Textileart.org.

Part of the Isolation Quilt.

I’ve also been working on the Bayeux, but now I can concentrate on it more now that I have less projects on the go.

Love seeing & reading about your creativity Pam 🙂 We are very lucky here in Adelaide with 0 active cases at the moment, but like you, I am really looking forward to going out and about, catching up with family & friends without the threat of ‘the invisible monster’ looming over us 🙂

I love you blogs, it makes the long days feel good. Your projects are as amazing as always. I was looking forward to the quilt show in Alamogordo this year, but I can wait for the next one. Your such a joyful person to be around. So for now I will read your posts and smile. Have a blessed evening. 🌹

Kerry, thank you, yes, it’s disappointing, to say the least, but we will back doing what we love the most soon.
