Who knows what we will encounter at the next exciting turn.

“Don’t undervalue what you do.”

Pam

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel as though I’m going backwards.
Then I stopped and took stock. “Where has that week gone”?

I spent all of last week working on a program, and when I begin something like that, I can’t stop in the middle and do something else as tempting as it might be. It’s engrossing, it’s necessary, and it’s crucial. So I just have to get it right. So many people are depending on you.

I also spent a lot of time on ‘business, and I’m not a natural at it; it’s stressful because I have to make phone calls, and I don’t like having to pick up that darn phone.

I taught on Monday and had another day at the shack on Tuesday, so I’ve only had a few days to pack and prepare for our Uluru and Alice Springs trip.

I had to mix in trying to clean up the storm leaves in the garden, spend Mum time with family, have the compulsory hair cut and a visit to the nail spa and Dr, organise my new business adventure and look after two houses. I did have a few hours with the pups on my lap. I’m telling you they are an absolute gift. They look up at you with those bright eyes and you can’t help but smile.

Geez, Louise, I did it all.

Now it’s time for a break, and I just might not come back; maybe I should just keep going into the sunset.
To be honest, we could be turned back at the airport tomorrow. The border rules are changing daily, hourly and it’s easy to miss the latest update because it’s happening so frequently.

Just keeping my eye on things.

So we head off early in the morning and who knows what we will encounter at the next exciting turn.

    Thanks Pam
When my friends an I worked in our business together, and we were always busy, one of them used to make us stop towards the end of any busy day, and write down what we’d done that day. It was always an amazing list to see. Ordering what seemed like the chaos of the day.
Sometimes, even though long retired, I still do it now.
    Enjoy your trip.

What a super idea Jan. I might try it when I get home.
