It's the end of our stay at the beach house…. tomorrow it's back to the 'shed'

In just 10 days I leave on an exciting trip.
I'm actually going to Israel to do some filming and then to Dubai to teach…

The beach was just wonderful today, I don't know if I mentioned just where we are….

Aldinga Beach.

"Aldinga is a small bayside fishing resort. Tourist attractions include a surfing beach and an off-shore reef supporting sea grasses and sponges – a favorite haunt of divers.  You can also hike through the bush trails of the Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park."

The beach is pure white, the sky crystal blue and the sea turquoise… it takes your breath away.

I've been kept company by my copy of Quilting Arts Magazine.  Years ago, I was a little intimidated by the "Art" quilts in the magazine, but I've grown to love it… There are lots of interesting projects… (none of which I intend to do) but  I do like the mixed media feel of the

magazine…

The ads in the back are a great resource for  fabrics, stamps, inks and interesting equipment that one just must have.

I photographed the colors as much as the scenery, I've eaten too much, but then I did walk the beach each day. 

So back to normality tomorrow…. and I'm going to do that darn block.!!!!!
