Mexico class

I arrived back at the hotel at 11.00pm last night and I didn’t even unpack the computer.
So no emails or blog or even downloading photos.!!!!!
After a welcoming shower, I fell into bed and couldn’t move.
It wasn’t that the class was strenuous, it’s just that I fitted a lot into the day.
We had a large class and they were there waiting with anticipation when I arrived.
Bernina supplied a machine for each student and Alma Rosa had organized everything superbly.Dsc08470_2

Quilting seems to be have a future here in Mexico, 5 of the ladies came down from San Miguel de Allende which is 4 hours by bus.!!!!! I was impressed. !!

Sylvia who has a quilt shop joined the class and although she has only been quilting 4 years, she is as enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge with other quilters as we all are.Dsc08467_2

It was a great day, what a friendly group of ladies. It took a little longer because of the need to have everything translated…. I found myself making some rather exaggerated hand sign age
….!!!  Some of the ladies told us about a cultural concert  at the Placio de Bellas Artes, so with a flick of the visa card, we were had tickets.Dsc02861_4

It was wonderful, We sat at nose bleed height, about 10 floors up I think.

It was so steep it made you feel dizzy and you felt as if you were going to topple.

But the show was spectacular and the curtain is made of Tiffany Glass!!!!!

We will re-visit in daylight to take more photos.
