My head is spinning.

This photo is of spun wool, that has been dyed with natural pigments drying in the sun.

One of the reasons to go to Oaxaca was to learn how pigments are  produced.
Learning the techniques of making the colors was fascinating… I have enough information to keep me writing for weeks…. I was able to shoot video, take photos and even Keith found it interesting.

It’s 10.00 in the evening, and we are now back in the USA. Poor husband Keith was rather uptight after a few travel hiccups….
I’m pleased he was with me rather than having to handle them on my own for a change… The plane trips were wonderful, it was the Airport inquiries in a foreign language and 5 different answers as to what direction we needed to go in…..!!! Finally after an hour and a half of walking back and forth, and a 10 minute train trip we just made it with about 5 mins to spare to catch our next flight…..!

So much has happened in the past few days that it makes my head reel.

It sounds as though it passed your expectations?
I think I will keep on with the Spanish lessons I would freak out if I was on my own and couldn’t understand what was being said.
Now for the new pieces of work that this will inspire!

Caroline, I was pleased that I had Keith with me. I think I could cope on my own, I usually do, but I would probably do things a little differently.
