I've not been slack, just working on things I can't share right now…
However, I was doing a little tidying today…. I have a lot of "special" things I've collected and I have to dust and clean them regularly… (well when I'm home that is.)
I wonder if you know what these are….? These came in for some special treatment today.
They are dolls made from fabric found on Mummys in the Atacama desert.
The fabric could be 1000's of years old.
The Atacama desert is the driest place on earth, and It was a little unnerving to see the occasional skull popping out of a barren Grey sand dune.
It's quite common, and at one of the villages I was able to purchase these doll images.
Needless to say, I take good care of them and marvel at the resilience of this amazing woven fabric.
